Yes, as soon as possible! So we rush to the optician's, pushing everyone out of the way, dragging goods home, stocking the refrigerator, hanging up the cabinets. We collapse into a chair with relief - thank God, the house is full! Then we open the refrigerator and sigh: the food, it seems, is no longer of high quality (the expiration date has passed), and even though the wardrobe is so full that it cannot be closed, there is still nothing to wear to the theater.

In a word, they spent the money, and it’s all down the drain! Why? They were in a hurry to grab it, they bought it cheap...Have you ever, at least in the movies, seen rich people running through the opting shops or taking it without looking? Yes, they will look and sniff everything for their money. They plan special days for their “bourgeois shopping”. No, Misha Balzaminov is right, a hundred times right:
“I’m not used to thinking, Mama, the way rich people think.” I think everything like a poor person. It’s just that wealth doesn’t fit in the head!

Of course, Ostrovsky wrote plays in the second half of the 19th century, and we are now living in the 21st century, and even in a competitive market. But have you learned to think “richly”? Here's a typical example. One of my friends noticed a strange phenomenon. She traveled for a long time to buy food and things at wholesale markets. There was barely enough money. Suddenly, a small store was opened in her house. Passing by, she began to go there more and more often. The goods there were more expensive than at the optician's, but clearly more decent. A month later, she stated with bewilderment that there was enough money for shopping in the store, without trips to the market. And without looking for additional income. They just increased the salary a little, the husband was paid for his unpaid old work.

A couple of months later, a decent supermarket was opened in the new house. There the choice was absolutely for the rich. But if you come in once, you'll be drawn to it a second time. And a friend was surprised to notice that she had enough money even for shopping at a super store. And again, neither she nor her husband had to look for a second job. The director just asked her to give paid consultations children of their friends (my friend is a teacher at a music school).
But somehow she again rushed to the optician, and she was drawn in.
- We need to stop wasting money! - she said. - What if tomorrow there is less money?

So she ran around for a month - and discovered: again there was only enough money for the wholesale market. It's a paradoxical pattern, isn't it? This means that the more you spend, the more money comes in. Directly the water cycle in nature. Or money in your pocket. Who likes what? As much as it poured out, so it poured in. You strive to go to the supermarket - and there is as much money as is enough for it.

I was drawn to the wholesale market - look, there’s only money for it. Why?! And simply - according to your needs. Of course, no one has seen the celestial layouts, but it turns out that they are guided by the well-known principle of “mastering capital investments.” If you don't master it, they won't give you more.
And again Misha Balzaminov comes to mind. When he was told the amount of the next bride's dowry, he almost lost his feelings - all at once:
- You probably won’t be able to live on that kind of money!

And yet he did not live, because this bride was also off the hook. And why all? Of course, again, he did not have a specific task, but doubts also prevailed. And under no circumstances should you doubt it! In the heavenly office, things are simple: if you doubt, no one will admonish you; If you don’t live, they won’t give it to you. Why bother translating a resource?
In a word, the conclusion from the stories with Balzaminov is this: define a goal for yourself, don’t be afraid to overdo it, don’t doubt it and think and dream that you are already rich. If you have a hundred rubles in your pocket, think that you can take on the whole world and a supermarket to boot.

If you want to publish a book, come up with a dozen stories that will then require you to write them down. If you want to imagine yourself healthy, imagine that you are running along a forest alley in Reebok or Adidas sneakers. How healthy person, you can afford it. And as a rich person, you have enough money to buy the coolest super sneakers. And then actually run around the house sometime in the morning, at least once as a test, at least for now in old sneakers. If you like it, buy sneakers. Push the dream!

Take the example of Balzaminov. In the end, he once again looked out for a bride and dreamed of a huge garden, a mansion with gazebos, crystal glasses and sparkling chandeliers. About getting yourself a real cook, footman and valet instead of just one uneducated cook, Matryona. In a word, he gave out all the scope of his dream that he was capable of, and stopped doubting: he decided that any rich bride would agree to marry him. And I finally found someone who agreed!

Naive Misha had only one reservation in his dreams. With any rich bride, Misha’s mother had to live with him.
“But I don’t even need that I’m rich,” he said. - And I always treat you with respect, mamma.
It's clear? You can dream and bring any dream into life - as long as it does not harm your family and good people.
Won't it hurt? Then - dream. To health and happiness. And whatever your heart desires.

The third secret. Losers and Chronophages

So, you want to become rich, maintain your savings and increase them. You really, really want this. What about those around you? Of course, we are not talking here about those who envy you or, even worse, bring all sorts of misfortunes upon your head. These envious people, enemies and ill-wishers are familiar and understandable to you. And you know perfectly well how to treat them. It’s best to smile calmly and tell them all (mentally): you can’t wait!

But now we are talking about others - about those who are part of your family and a narrow circle of true friends (for there are never too many real ones!). How do they feel about wealth, your dreams and money itself, finally? Don't be lazy - look around and analyze. Maybe your mother is deeply convinced that since you bought a new vacuum cleaner, what more could you want? You're just crazy about fat! She generally made do with a broom and cleaned the rug in the snow. And your beloved girlfriend sincerely believes that the next episode of “Adjutants of Love” or “Don’t Be Born Beautiful”, watched while eating “pizza at home” in the evening, is much more pleasant than running around for a salary. Well, your mother-in-law generally washes her hands after touching a banknote, because she is firmly convinced that money is dirt!
Well, how can you think about wealth with such relatives and friends?!

It's difficult, of course. But it's still possible. First of all, you need to talk to your relatives, trying to convince them that being rich is not harmful, not shameful and possible (see “unique thesis” at the beginning of this book), that money itself is not evil, not an infection, not dirt, but simply a means of payment, or rather, exchange: after all, it is money that we exchange for something useful, pleasant, and generally for the very thing we dreamed of. However, you should know that almost a quarter of our people to this day sincerely consider wealth to be evil, and your family and friends may well be in this fourth part. So what then?

Strange as it may seem, it is useless to convince such people: they are programmed this way by Heaven, and you will not do anything here, you will only fray your nerves and ruin your relationship. I advise you in conversations with such people don't talk about money at all. Do you have a few other topics to talk about?

In addition, it is worth analyzing those around you. For example, they despise money, but somehow they live, “get” money, make purchases? And often, upon closer examination, you can be convinced that they live well and manage their stream of money very successfully. How is this? In different ways. For example, a husband despises money, but his wife works hard for both of them, or parents support an over-aged child. There are people who are generally accustomed to making do with the very least, and are even proud of it: they say, I live not for my own pleasures, but for the sake of duty (justice, creativity, for the sake of other people, etc.). There are so many different eccentrics! Well, they have enough of “theirs” - and thank God! It's their right to think this way, and your right to think differently.

So we think differently. AND main idea: Who from your environment is preventing the flow of your wealth? After all, it is clear that if someone obscures your “energy path” with their difficult thoughts and doubts, it is difficult to follow it - both for you, and for your dreams, and for your wealth. Don't hang out with losers! True, sometimes it is difficult to do this - it could be a beloved friend who is catastrophically unlucky, or a beloved nephew who cannot find a worthy place in life. How can this be?! There is a way out!

When communicating with these “favorite losers,” do not talk to them about money, about your dreams, about affairs, current and future. And in general, try sighing in response to their whining: “Oh, everything is so bad for me!” This often helps: whiners cannot stand hearing about other people’s failures and therefore will quickly leave you behind.

However, it also happens that it’s not whiners that bother you, but those who run around from morning to evening and even have their own business. But for some reason it always stalls for them, deals fall through, and all their fuss brings only one “benefit” - a donut hole. These are the people who should be the subject of your close attention. Alas, these “most energetic” aunts and uncles are real “business vampires” who, working 24 hours a day, only suck energy out of the business itself, but give nothing in return and therefore do not receive any benefit. These are the ones who need to be removed from your social circle first.

Don't hang out with feverishly active losers! Make sure that they don’t drag you into their active fever.. Calmly and firmly reject their “hardest projects” and “safest undertakings.” Learn to say no. Honestly, no one will punish you for refusing and no one will treat you worse. And even if it does, I assure you: nothing will come from relationships with losers, and it is best to break off these relationships.

And one more thing - Don't communicate with chronophages! These are worse than the biggest loser. Don't know who chronophages are? Those who steal time from others feed on this time (from the Greek chronos - time, phagos - drinker). Remember your most energetic friend who calls you every day, or even five times a day, telling you various stories over the phone that regularly happen to her. You listen to her, now with bewilderment, now with pity, try to give advice after advice, but all the advice is of no use, because tomorrow the same thing will happen to her as yesterday, or even worse. Don't feel sorry for her and don't give her advice - they are like peas against the wall. Yes, she doesn’t need them! She needs you to devote your time to her. She feeds on your time. Can you imagine how much necessary and useful you could do in the time you spend talking with her?! Introduced? So don’t let the telephone “vampire” feed on your energy and eat up your time! Quickly and without delving into it, and most importantly - without taking everything to heart (why?! She arranges her own failures! Yes, she won’t be able to live without them!), wrap up the conversation. If you begin to sympathize, give her some of your energy. Do you really need this?! And then don’t discuss your girlfriend’s “sorrows” with your loved ones - otherwise the lion’s share of the energy will fly from all of you to her. And you need to stay in shape and save your energy; you don’t already have an excess of it (the next part of our book will tell you about some techniques for saving and generating energy).

The fourth secret. Mad money

The playwright Alexander Nikolaevich Ostrovsky knew many merchant secrets, did not hide them from people, and talked about them in his plays. He called one of the best plays “Mad Money.” We are talking about young Lydia Cheboksarova, who dreamed of selling her beauty at a higher price - to find the richest groom. Men adored Lydia, took her for rides in troikas, had dinner in restaurants, and bought gifts in expensive stores. Lydia herself changed admirers in a frenzied whirlwind and dreamed of ever-increasing wealth. However, in reality it turned out to be zilch - all the applicants, although they squandered money, but, as it turned out later, some - with money borrowed, and some - with stolen money. In a word, the dream of quick and crazy money burst, and Lydia had to marry a modest merchant, who had only one abandoned factory somewhere in the province. And just imagine, it was this modest entrepreneur who earned real, real millions, and not some mythical crazy money.

Funny story? What dramaturgy is there, our whole life is permeated with crazy money. Someone hits the jackpot, pulls off an adventure, organizes a scam - and now he is already the owner of this crazy money. Famous story, Truth? However, we also know what happens next: redistribution of property, a stronger and more arrogant swindler, a new adventure... And where is it, the recent money? They left, sailed away, flowed away... What did you want from that kind of money? They're crazy!

Not only the playwright Ostrovsky, but also many Russian merchants knew the habits of crazy money: to burst into a person’s life, to stun, lure, show off, “lie” to the owner that he is now an omnipotent rich man - and instantly melt, disappear, move on to someone else. They are insidious cheaters, this crazy money! No wonder there was a saying: “Don’t worry yourself to death, but don’t go crazy for crazy money!” And what an accurate saying! Indeed, the one who received a lot of money seemed to be in a frenzy, not noticing anything, as if in a steamy fog. So what did he do? I lived like I was in a fever. He thought that the whole world was now in his pocket, as if he had “grabbed God himself by the beard.” But in fact, he was wasting his easy money and, until the last one flowed away, he could not calm down.

And what's worse: crazy money, when leaving, takes all its fellows away from the former “master”. It’s not for nothing that merchants used to say: “Mad money - crazy days!”

So all those striving for wealth - be vigilant! Of course, I don’t encourage you to spend your entire life just hunching your shoulders; a healthy dose of adventurism has never harmed anyone. But if you are chasing easy money, remember the consequences. It’s not for nothing that the beautiful Lydia from Ostrovsky’s play eventually admitted that the daily work of her modest husband brought much more significant fruits than all the “sturgeon with champagne” with which frivolous admirers tried to seduce her in a mad whirlwind of pleasures.

And one more piece of advice. If crazy crazy money comes to you (even if it’s small amounts!), do not introduce them to the hard-earned and hard-earned money you earned - do not put in one wallet, do not put in one pack. Otherwise, not only will the crazy money go away on its own, but your hard-earned treasures will also be taken away.

And you act quickly. When a stray sum appears from somewhere - spend it. Exchange this crazy money for the thing you need. Then they will do their “dirty” deed - they will leave you, but you and the right thing you won't lose money.
But never - remember, never! - do not start an important business with crazy money, do not pay with it for an urgently needed service, do not buy goods for sale. The business will fall apart, there will be no profit from the product, and the service will turn out to be unkind. Well, they're down the drain, crazy money - better than hard-earned money, money that knows how to grow and multiply, and not just run around the world like crazy!

No wonder the merchants said: “If you made money, God respected you; if you accepted the crazy ones, God abandoned you.” After all, it’s true - crazy money is not from God. A person should own his own money, but crazy people will start to own you. Is this life?

WHAT IS A RICH LIFE?

Now it is very fashionable to denounce wealth. More precisely, not even the wealth itself, but the people who own it. They are reproached for all mortal sins, believing that it is all the better to be as poor as the envious people who scold them.

I don’t argue that there is some truth in such social claims of workers. But who prevents them from working sometimes 18 hours a day, being in constant tension from the “activities” of various criminal structures, greedy corrupt officials, slow bureaucrats, nosy inspectors, hard-drinking workers and lazy “office plankton”?

Let me emphasize that we are not talking about those who receive wealth and power “by inheritance” from their parents and relatives. It's about about people who, through their personal work, ensure the well-being of their family. Such “fidgets” often feel the need for work inherent in them by nature, and not at all for enrichment in any way.

Look around you and you will see that there are not so few people around us who have created their own small business, opened a workshop, shop or cafe. They are not luxurious, but they are not poor either. They are often modestly dressed because they have no time to go out to visit people, go to theaters or restaurants. But their children, wife and parents are provided with everything, unlike the children, wife and parents of the poor.

Of course, I have no idea that my readers are slackers and quitters. Many of you are ready to work more and longer, provided that they are paid a decent salary for it.

But, unfortunately, the situation in the country’s economy is such that now many people are ready to work even for a lower salary and even a shorter working week, as long as they are not fired “as unnecessary.”

And now I would like to say the most important thing, what actually prompted me to write this material. So, does anyone have the right to blame other people for living better, but at the same time working hard?

Think about it, singers of equality in poverty, can your parents be alive if you don’t have money for medicine for them?! Can your children be healthy if you don’t have money to buy food for them?!. How can you have reliable friends if there are envious and selfish people around you?!

It seems that the Russian fabulist I.A. was right. Krylov, when he said: “Why should godmothers work? Isn’t it better to turn to yourself, godmother?”
