Did he go down because he started drinking or, on the contrary, did he drink out of despair? This woman is not an alcoholic, and yet, for some reason, life brought her to the very bottom. They will live a little longer and die somewhere under the fence. And most importantly, they have NO prospects: their youth is gone, and now they are at such a low level that the rest of their lives will not be enough to rise.
