    Introduction

Newspaper, printed word - unique way delivered the necessary information and important information to the reader. Therefore, the role of the school newspaper for students cannot be overestimated.

What is a school newspaper?

A platform for expressing your point of view?

An effective information tool?

Space for bringing generations together?

Let's try to answer these and other questions.

Today, students are required not only to have knowledge, but also to be active, proactive, and able to make decisions in difficult situations. And most importantly, learn to apply the acquired knowledge. All this is possible in the work of a school newspaper. Here, students themselves can talk about current events, speak out about their sociocultural environment, needs and problems.

We think that the school newspaper solves many problems and issues school life. And the creation of a school newspaper allows you to establish closer micro-social connections within the school. The participation of students in the school press center supports their individual development, as it helps to organize themselves, express their thoughts, disseminate them among other people, help them to know themselves better, and open the world. In progress joint activities on creating a newspaper between representatives different generations relationships of mutual understanding are established.

We have set ourselves the followinggoals and objectives of the study:

Study the history of the development of the school newspaper.

Identify students’ needs for information and ways of presenting it.

Determine trends in reading preferences and tastes of schoolchildren, as well as teachers.

Make a list of popular and most readable sections, most in demand by students of different ages.

Present the results of the study for the further successful development of the school newspaper in the future.

In the course of the work, the following was carried out: an analysis of the materials of the school newspaper, interviews with the creators of the newspaper, sociological surveys among students, graduates and teachers of the gymnasium, materials and experience in creating school newspapers in different cities our country, published on the Internet.

The work consists of two parts. The work highlights the main stages of the creation and development of a gymnasium newspaper, determines the prospects for its development according to the ideas of students and teachers, as well as the preferences of readers in order to make the newspaper even more popular.

We express our gratitude to all high school students, graduates and teachers of the school who took part in sociological research and writing this work.

    1. Goals and history of creation

Objectives of the newspaper:

Coverage of topics relevant to the gymnasium both inside and outside the school.

Reflection on the events taking place in the gymnasium.

Arena for self-expression of creative individuals.

Mobile communication between the school administration and students.

Identifying student opinions on current issues through social surveys and interviews.

History of creation:

The idea of creation belongs to Anastasia Rodionova, later the editor of the newspaper (beginning of 2007)

The impetus for the idea of creating a periodical was the trial release of a leaflet for September 1, “Gymnasium Bulletin”, September 2007, containing tabular information about the performance of gymnasium students.

As is known, bisector is a ray, a ray of light that illuminates in detail all corners of our school life.

But the newspaper editors prefer a different interpretation of the name. According to the definition known to every schoolchild, a bisector is a rat that runs around the corners. It is our rat that runs around all corners of the school and beyond, collecting all kinds of news and bringing them to the attention of readers.

The creator of the logo is Yana Lysenko.

The idea for the rat came immediately; it was much more difficult to draw it. To do this, we turned to various gymnasium students who could draw. After a lot of trial and error, we finally saw an option we all liked.

Differences between Bisector and other school newspapers:

    Essential information.

    No plagiarism.

There is no information not related to school life (advertising, crosswords, horoscopes, theater repertoire, culinary recipes etc.)

The topics covered are relevant and interesting.

The newspapers are published with the support of the parent community and themselves.

We strive for self-sufficiency due to demand among the readership.

Attempts to create a school newspaper have been made before. For example, the newspaper “Scholyar” was published in 2004. with the participation of Glyadentseva V.E., Shumailova T.A., and the leadership of director Galchenko S.E. Why did the newspaper “Scholyar” fail?

Having interviewed its initiators, we came to the conclusion that:

The initiators were teachers. There was no time to get together and discuss what articles to write for the newspaper. Few topics of interest to students were raised.

We decided to stop and think about our mistakes and shortcomings.

Several years have passed andthe students themselves wanted to restore the newspaper. A great initiative group has gathered. We decided to add new categories, interesting competitions, share with the school children your successes, trips taken during the holidays, funny stories, etc. The teachers were only FOR it! Especially when the students said that they would do everything without their help. Starting from the name of the newspaper and ending with what sections will be published. Our newspaper was “reborn” (2007), became truly interesting, and there was a demand for it from students of all ages.

    1. Memoirs of participants in the “movement”.

How did Bisector develop (memoirs of the creators)

Glyadentseva V.E. remembers : “We thought about the first issue for a very long time. Various ideas and ideas came, but everything seemed boring and uninteresting. At some point we even thought about giving up this idea, but then we decided that we should not give up, but take the opportunity to gather several people from each class of our school and get down to business. As soon as we did this everything went like clockwork. We thought about the name for a long time, there were many options, but we decided to settle on “Bisector”, especially since everyone liked it. We drew the picture itself and... finally, the long-awaited release, which everyone had been waiting for a very long time, came out. We liked it and the teachers also supported us. From that moment on, we decided to publish a newspaper every month. There were a lot of ideas, too, and plenty of time. The newspaper began to be published, people began to buy it, new sections were invented, interesting ideas, things were going well. That year (2007) the whole school was like one whole, we gathered the editorial board every Monday, discussed something, laughed at something. We have all become one big friendly family, supported each other. There was a lot. This is how the newspaper influenced us. We found a lot of new friends that we hadn't even noticed before while walking around the school. Everyone liked the first issue, and after it our newspaper began to be published regularly!”

Glyadentseva Polina (virtual interview)

8 years have passed and Polina writes in her virtual interview: “It was not an impulse, but a dream. Nastya and I have been thinking about creating a newspaper for a long time. But then we wondered if we could cope... And in vain, it turns out we were worried. We succeeded. Although it was difficult, I won’t lie. The teachers and children supported us, especially the director I.M. Perunova. and my mother, Glyadentseva V.E.

Anastasia Rodionova (notes from the school archive)

After the first five issues of the newspaper, Anastasia Rodionova wrote: “We began to think: “Does anyone even like the newspaper?” And we decided to stop for a while and not publish. So to speak, to check whether there will be questions about why the newspaper has been missing for 2 months. And indeed, many asked why she had been gone for so long and asked to resume work with the newspaper. We started printing it again. After “Bisector” it began to be released more often. Later we came up with “KRY-letters”, which were given to the winners of competitions. The newspaper developed, new sections and competitions appeared.

So,« Where to start? How to make the newspaper relevant, interesting and readable? “- such questions are asked by everyone who starts a new business.

The first thing the newspaper’s creators did was to look for interested guys to create a team of like-minded people. It is known that the name is important for a newspaper. There were a lot of ideas. And, as has already been said, the “rat” won.

The goal was set for the junior cadets:
Make the newspaper interesting and educational for schoolchildren . Students, teachers and parents were also invited to cooperate in covering school life in the newspaper. Through the newspaper, the creative personalities of students began to be discovered.

Planning the issue, collecting material, processing photographs, working on the layout and design of the newspaper, printing issues in the printing house - there was enough work for everyone in the school senior class. Great help correspondents from 8 classes, the most active at that time, provided assistance; they mainly helped in printing the school newspaper. They took away best articles, photographs, stories, we were thinking about the name of a new section, article, competition.

The newspaper also has several “tenacious” columns:

According to reader polls, 1st place in popularity and longevity was taken by the “Stereoview” rubric (The author of the rubric is Dmitry Shilkin), in second place is the “Find 10 Differences” rubric, which appeared later, in 2010, and has overtaken its main rival in popularity. Third place is firmly occupied by “Guess Where This Place is.” The recently launched “School Horoscope” column (hosted by Irina Kosminskaya) has also gained great popularity.

The topics of articles in the newspaper reflect our school life: studies, important events at school, holidays, competitions, sports competitions, excursions, trips, meetings with interesting people.
What benefits does a school newspaper bring? Together with its creators, we proudly answer:
“Thanks to the newspaper, we learn to find unusual and unforgettable moments in everyday life. The newspaper brings together and unites schoolchildren and adults into one whole. The children discover the talents of their classmates and rejoice at the successes of the students and teachers of our school.”

To date, 30 issues have already been released!

The role of the newspaper in the life of the school and prospects for its development

Our “Bisector” fulfills all the tasks of a school newspaper:

Coverage of school life;

Assistance in developing information culture;

Increasing interest in learning and various academic subjects, as well as public life schools, cities;

Development of intelligence, creativity, communication skills, tolerance;

Joining universal human values, patriotic, environmental education.

But, as in any business, we also have problems.

Problems the newspaper is currently facing:

The need to create a cohesive team of gymnasium students, united by a common goal, interested in the success of their business;

Little participation of schoolchildren in the creation of each issue of the newspaper;

The problem of providing feedback to readers online.

Special attention requires a problem in the implementation ofbrotherly connection with readers, which is very important!

So, in order to create the opportunity to communicate with our readers, receive feedback and suggestions, responses to competitions, as well as criticism, a correspondence box was installed in our school, which brings some results: now readers, in addition to the above, can ask questions to the school administration, which through us will definitely reach the addressees and will be reviewed on the pages of newspapers. However, this form does not work effectively enough.

Feedback from readers is also provided through the school website, but this information channel has now lost its popularity. The main events and steps in creating and developing a newspaper take place directly at school.

I concluded that we need to conduct more social media. surveys among students and resume work on-line - mail, use different types correspondence in social networks. This is what was done during this study.

Here are the first results of active social research among students.

For example, schoolchildren ask that the newspaper have more illustrations for articles in order to increase the visibility of the information and, accordingly, the interest of readers. And many kids simply want to see their photographs on the pages of the school newspaper.

Children of the 21st century, accustomed to receiving information through television and computers, also want more sections with visual information, asking them to guess video riddles or find information hidden in a picture or photograph.

  • The newspaper's columns are of particular importance. A newspaper without categories is like a suit without buttons, classes without breaks.
  • The rubric is part of the so-called header complex. Rubric – a supertitle that specifies the topic of the material,
  • Headings allow the reader to accurately find in the publication exactly what interests him.

  • The headings make it possible to form the basis of the content and thematic model of the publication and to determine the most important thematic areas of its publications.
  • Headings make it easier to develop a compositional model of a newspaper, determine its structure and construct each issue. That's why important task The editorial board is to form a system of newspaper headings.

  • There are two types of headings:
  • The most important are thematic headings that determine the topics of publications. The thematic section combines both a single-topic selection of publications on a newspaper page and an entire thematic page.

  • The newspaper uses service sections just as actively. They also help organize the materials in the issue and help readers find publications that interest them.
  • Several types of service rubrics are used.
  • Genre headings (determine the genre of publications):

  • Time headings (indicate the time of events reported by publications):
  • Regional heading (limiting the region reported by the newspaper):

  • Service headings may suggest the source of information published in the newspaper:
  • There is a concept - exclusive headings, which are found only in this publication.
  • The image of the publication depends on the system of headings; monopoly headings play a huge role in its formation.

  • Each newspaper should develop its own system of columns, differing in nature, duration of their existence, focus on a specific audience, etc.
  • Some sections are used constantly in the publication and usually coincide with the main thematic sections of the newspaper, others are temporary and episodic. They help clarify the nature of the publication.

  • The rubric is most often placed above the text, but sometimes it is “tied” to the heading or “sunk” in the text (i.e. placed inside the text).

  • The role of a rubric can also be played by screensaver is a drawing or photograph that reflects the theme of the material. For example, the font heading “Sport” is most often replaced with a small drawing with sports symbols.

The main question

  • The section should be catchy, informational, preferably not boring, and even more preferably, original.
  • About this, unlike the title, it should be extremely short and universal - reusable.

The school newspaper, of course, should have sections consisting of school “terms”.

Not “In leisure hours”, but “Change”.

Not “Our Teachers”, but “Teacher’s Room”.

Not “In the world of wise thoughts,” but “Crib for life.”

something to think about and think about.

We wish you success in this!

Let's share our experience:

All teams came with their newspapers. Let each name its own sections.

Interesting findings can be recorded, and the school with the most successful rubric system can be identified.

A common problem: hackneyed topics, we pay little attention to them.

“Event Feed”, “Starfall”; "This is interesting"; "Photosketch"; "Report from the scene"; “Cadet self-government informs”; "Test of the pen"; “Gallery”, “Congratulations!”; "Interview number"; "Connection of Generations".

Newspapers are different - serious, smart, funny. Before you start publishing a newspaper, you need to decide on the content: either it will be just a photo newspaper with a minimum of text, or, for example, a literary almanac.

Publishing a newspaper is a creative work; it cannot be squeezed into a certain framework, even one you come up with yourself. Be sure to first define the goals of the newspaper. What should it give to students, teachers, parents? A resourceful reader will immediately answer this question, grasping the pedagogical component of this question: “Of course, the newspaper is needed to educate the younger generation, so we will convey our ideas through the newspaper, let them read! And a newspaper at school is needed to unite the teaching and student teams, because they will have the same goal. Yes and what! Your own newspaper! This is great! Take your time, reader. If everything were so simple, then each school would publish its own newspaper.

Perhaps your newspaper, having grown stronger, will become the calling card of your educational institution, but at first you will face a lot of troubles and ambiguities. I was lucky, I once worked for two years at a regional newspaper, where I could observe the “newspaper kitchen” from the inside. But your school does not have an editorial office. It is in the editorial office that people, working as correspondents, receive a salary for their work. This will be an additional burden for you and your colleagues, and even if they pay you something extra for your righteous labors, this, of course, will not cover your costs - publishing a newspaper requires a lot of time and effort! And mostly it will be your strength and your free time. In a normal editorial office, all positions are distributed, as are responsibilities: editor, proofreader, correspondent, typist. Anyone who dares to publish a newspaper must be united in many faces. In addition, the newspaper will still need to be printed. Therefore, you need to decide where and how you will print it. We had a situation at school when all the printers simply broke down. Yes, and you need to worry about paper, because your newspaper will have a certain circulation. And the most important thing is that your newspaper should be read! And it should be interesting!

And in our school over the years, repeated attempts have been made to revive wall printing. On this the hard way there were some bright pages back in the 70s XX centuries, they published several copies of the wall newspaper, then they used a typewriter and carbon paper. I am sure that to implement the idea, you need a person who will lead everyone, take on most of the work and all responsibility for publishing the newspaper. It so happened that I became the editor of the newspaper at our school. Now, looking back, I can explain my passion for publishing a newspaper. Everything is banal - during the years of my student, in our school, and in all schools throughout the vast country, political information was held every Tuesday. We took this matter seriously, and history teacher N.I. Lyubimova asked to prepare political information based on materials from newspapers. I remember kind words my teacher, who taught us to read newspapers. For a good story about political life in the world, we could get an A in history.

This habit of reading newspapers, and sometimes cutting out the material I liked, became the first impulse to publish my own newspaper. “It would be nice to publish your own newspaper, about your school, about your village!” - I dreamed when I was still a student. And without thinking twice, I pasted articles from various publications onto the pages of my student notebook - this was my first newspaper. I showed it to my family, everyone liked it, and I began to publish such a “Digest” every day, but on the 20th issue I suddenly encountered the problem of collecting material. There was nothing to write about the village, and I stopped publishing my home newspaper.

Computers came to the cities earlier; they took a long time to reach our outbacks and did not immediately become available to teachers. In 2005, I still managed to buy a computer and a printer. My first creation, created on modern technology, became a newspaper. I just remembered my childhood and tried to publish a home newspaper. And I did it easily. I wrote a dozen different notes about my children and their activities. About the weather, about your life. The entire text is divided into columns. I inserted pictures (we didn’t have a digital camera then, and we didn’t even know what it was). I checked the errors, edited a few things, and pressed the “print” button. A few seconds later I was holding my newspaper in my hands. A dream come true! I was immensely happy, but I understood that this was not yet the newspaper that I wanted to publish. The International Day of March 8th was approaching and I asked permission from the school principalGalina BorisovnaKirillova, dared to publish the essays of our school students about mothers in the school newspaper. The school leadership agreed, and the first issue of our school newspaper was published on March 7, 2006. They didn’t hesitate for a long time with the name of the newspaper - “ Big change"Everyone liked it. Every reputable newspaper has its own slogan, we used lines from a poem by a fellow countryman as our sloganNikolai Petrovich Kirillov: “Luck comes to the merry!” This did not mean that we planned to publish a humorous publication; on the contrary, we wanted to make the newspaper serious. But soon a hunger for information began to be felt. Although we worked on the newspaper together with the school management, there were no good articles about school life. It’s one thing to do something interesting for yourself, and quite another to try to “get” others into doing it. At first, we went the wrong way - we tried to force class teachers and subject teachers to write articles using administrative resources. They put pressure on pedagogical councils: “Write to the newspaper, colleagues!” Some took this with hostility. You can understand them, it’s extra work. Once the teachers began to slow down the publication of the newspaper, they turned to the children, but the children did not receive the news about the obligation to write articles for the newspaper without enthusiasm. After all, the initiative to publish the newspaper came from teachers.

Our newspaper was announced as a weekly, and time dictated its conditions: “Either we publish the newspaper, or we close it!” One of the teachers suggested publishing one issue of the newspaper per month or even every quarter. And then, as a history teacher, I suddenly received the answer to the same question I had posed: “Why is it necessary to publish a newspaper? What is the point of all this work? After all, it can’t just come down to imposing new responsibilities on students and teachers? And so it was decided to turn the newspaper into a chronicle of the events of the school. The newspaper contains material about classes, competitions, competitions. You can also use material already written by children and teachers. Students write essays in literature lessons - please submit them to the newspaper. Gradually, children and teachers got used to the newspaper. We distributed part of the circulation free of charge to organizations in the village. Therefore, local residents also knew about the newspaper. We were approached with a request to publish material about the anniversary of the kindergarten. We decided to collect news and materials about the history of the village and the fate of our fellow villagers. And before Victory Day he matured new plan- On May 9, we decided to present a festive issue of the newspaper to war and labor veterans. This is how traditions were born. For six years now, we have been publishing a holiday issue of the newspaper, entirely dedicated to our fellow countrymen. The golden rule of our newspaper is to write only about fellow countrymen, to submit only local material to the newspaper.

After some time, it became clear why some teachers do not write to the newspaper. But it turns out teachers are like everyone else normal people, be afraid of criticism. After all, any article published in a newspaper is meticulously read and re-read by colleagues. And colleagues are strict judges! If someone once heard a remark addressed to them, they may not write anything else. Indecision and false embarrassment need to be overcome, and this can only be done in one way - write more, write more often, write better! I myself went through such a “big wash”. The teacher of Russian language and literature provided me with great help then.Ekaterina Alfeevna Konanova, and later Ekaterina Vasilievna Burakova And Elena GeliosovnaPushkin. Sometimes there was nothing left of my articles. I had to rewrite it again. But gradually the articles became clearer and more literate. Thanks to my colleagues – teachers of Russian language and literature – for this. And later I ventured to publish my stories and poems.

There are teachers who happily respond to offers to provide materials on events and competitions.Alexander ViktorovichPushkin, a physical education teacher, likes to tell on the pages of the newspaper about regional competitions in which our schoolchildren take part. Places his articles and appeals from the school director in the newspaperElena Anatolyevna Aleshicheva.

The newspaper helps not only teachers, but also children to unleash their creative potential. A school newspaper cannot be published without the feedback and opinions of children. They are also readers and creators of the newspaper. The best part is that students offer their poems and fairy tales. Well, the simplest method of creating an article about a school event is to ask the student to express his opinion, and write down and edit everything he says. This doesn't take much time. Some of the students can be given the task of writing an article or essay on their own. In every class there are students who can talk about an event in an interesting way. But, alas, usually students are good storytellers, but not very good writers.

Our primary school teachersMaria Veniaminovna Maltseva, Yulia Valerievna Konovalova, Alla Vasilievna Ryazanova and her children create materials about school everyday life and holidays. Children can talk beautifully about an event, but when they see the paper, they don’t know how to express their thoughts on it. This is where teachers should come to the rescue. Do articles written by a young author need to be edited? This is another opportunity to talk with the student about the Russian language and literature. I think it is necessary, but after correcting what the student wrote, you need to explain to him why it was done this way.

Children should take part in publishing the newspaper, but it is better to involve them in the work gradually, without imposing certain responsibilities on the students. Children can submit their photographs for the newspaper. IN primary school kids are almost not embarrassed to be photographed, and older students sometimes flatly refuse to be photographed for a newspaper, this also needs to be taken into account. You can ask schoolchildren for photographs that they themselves like. It is better to photograph students doing something without forcing them to pose. Then the pictures will turn out more alive, and the children will look more relaxed in them.

Thanks to the newspaper, we have implemented a number of school projects. The first is the “Electronic Book of Memory”, for the veterans, our fellow countrymen, on the 65th anniversary of the Victory. We agreed in advance with the teachers that they would begin collecting data about labor and war veterans in our village. We had some of the material in the school museum. The whole thing was decided collected material publish on the pages of a newspaper. During the school year, the material was collected, passed through the newspaper and was posted on one of the Internet sites. A former student of our school, and now a computer science teacher at one of the schools in the city of Kingisepa, helped us with this.Galina Vyacheslavovna Svanidze.

In addition, the newspaper publishes the scientific works of students, with which they perform at district, regional and all-Russian competitions. At our school, we still maintain the tradition of holding themed weeks, for example, “Health Week” or “Bird Week.” All these events find a response in the newspaper.

Even the political life in the village is reflected on the pages of our newspaper. Suppose the head of the district administration came to school - everyone will know about it! The newspaper will tell you what he promised and what he called for. Our newspaper did not ignore the topic of elections. But it seems to me that a school newspaper should stand outside of politics. Teachers have different political preferences, and each of them has the right to do so. And publishing material in a newspaper against any political party can lead to a split in the teaching staff.

In any case, the newspaper should not be a “bone of discord” neither for teachers, nor for students and parents. In the newspaper we do not write about the failures of our students, we do not scold them, we do not shame them, but we try to display their best features, their talents and gifts. And therefore, the students are happy to look at the new issue, which tells about another week of school! Publishing a newspaper helps in working on a school website - there is always ready-made material. Data from the school newspaper can be used to compile portfolios for teachers and students. The electronic version of the newspaper is stored on the school computer. Through the newspaper you can congratulate veterans of pedagogical work on their birthday, and all residents of the village on holidays. The newspaper, like a mirror, reflects the whole life of the school. Now, thanks to the newspaper, another joint project is being implemented - “Preparation for the 50th anniversary of the Novokemsk school.” The idea is to collect all the material about the school’s teachers, the activities of the school and its students and graduates, passed through the newspaper, and publish it in book form for the school’s anniversary in August 2012.

Now about the technical side of the issue. The newspaper is published on four pages of A-4 paper, that is, on two sheets with double-sided printing. Font size 10, Times New Roman . The font can be changed at your discretion. Typically, the text on the page is divided into two columns, and photographs are inserted. It would be nice to type out a newspaper using a special program, but we don’t have one. I tried to download from the Internet, but I couldn't do it. Typing is done mainly on home computer, this work is not difficult. It is more difficult to come up with a design, work on the content of the material, select interesting facts, and write a poem on a topical topic. We print the newspaper at school on a black and white printer, and in exceptional cases we issue a color issue. For us, printing color numbers is very expensive and inconvenient, because we can only buy paint in the regional center or in regional center, and this is far from our village. The newspaper's circulation is 10 copies. Two issues for the school: one goes to the archives, the other is posted instead of a wall newspaper. We distribute the remaining numbers to organizations and institutions of our village: library, House of Culture, settlement administration, kindergarten, Kemsky raid. The newspaper is distributed free of charge.

Our newspaper “Big Change” won the regional competition“More good and different magazines”in 2010, but that doesn't mean you can rest on your laurels!

The problem for our newspaper is its printing performance; ordinary printers do not print very well. I would like to see a color newspaper in the future. I would like to thank all the teachers and students of our school for their cooperation in publishing the newspaper. As long as the school lives, the school newspaper will live, reflecting all the important events of the school country. And I wish patience and creativity to everyone who wants to take up this interesting business.

Do newspaper modern. This could mean anything. The main rule is to forget about being an ordinary newspaper. Not a single child will tell you that the newspaper Kommersant or MK have beautiful design. So do the opposite. Give your publication a bright, free style and fill it with graphics and images. The easiest way to create a front page is to use photos and students.

Consider the shape of the newspaper. A student is unlikely to appreciate the delights of a wide, awkward A3 or larger newspaper. A4 format is best suited. It is close to a magazine, printing can be done on a regular printer, it will easily fit in.

A smaller format is also acceptable, but it causes layout problems. If you are going to publish long, complex ones, it may stretch over several pages.

Use effects to decorate text and photos. Popular genre of manga - good one, as possible "with text". Do not use conventional newspaper columnar feeding methods. Arrange information on the page in small oval frames, like clouds in the sky. The final version is similar to a blog or news feed, which will attract and make it easier to learn the material.

Process photos with shadows, light, and gloss. Create interesting photo collages. This will help you save space and use more photos on one page.

Ask students for advice. As a rule, young talents can come up with brilliant ideas that will not only attract new students to the newspaper, but also establish various kinds of awards for the work done.

Useful advice

Remember that you need to start not from your understanding of what a newspaper should be, but from the needs of the student. By fulfilling these needs, you will be able to achieve success.

So you decided to do . It doesn’t matter what it will be: a wall newspaper for colleagues, a small school bulletin printed on a wide-format printer, or a full-fledged periodical. The topic has been decided, the materials have been collected. How to design a newspaper? Whatever newspaper you make, pay attention to the following points.

Instructions

Any newspaper should have its own recognizable style. Don't be afraid to experiment, move away from templates.

Photographs and drawings serve not only as additional illustrative material, but also often “pull over” the information blanket. Make sure your photo is eye-catching. It is not necessary that any incriminating evidence be depicted on it. Just place it on the strip.

The right font is the key to your success. It shouldn't be too popular, but it should be easy to read what it says. Don't show all the fonts you know in one issue. It's funny, of course, but the reader is unlikely to like it.
The font is the “face” of the publication. Make it recognizable.

Designing the structure of a newspaper is hard work. Your task is so that the reader moves through the headings and understands why you arranged the material this way and not otherwise.
For example, if serious analytical material appears on a newspaper page, the reader will never open the middle of the newspaper to read latest news. If only because it is simply inconvenient.
