The history of the Field of Miracles program began when Vladislav Listyev And Anatoly Lysenko rested in an ordinary hotel in Paris. Finally, Leonid Yakubovich agreed to Listyev’s proposal and conducted his first broadcast on November 22, 1991. After recording three more episodes, he wanted to leave the program, but at the end of the fourth broadcast, the main employees of the VID television company (Alexander Lyubimov, Ivan Demidov , Andrey Razbash etc.) announced to the audience in the studio that Leonid Yakubovich had become the second presenter.
Having officially taken the place of host and believing that the program would not last even six months in this way, in 1992 Leonid Yakubovich proposed his own concept to Vladislav Listyev: the capital show should be “not about what they play, but about those who play it”. Listyev gave his consent to this, and from that moment until now in “Field of Miracles” the emphasis is not on the process of guessing the word itself, but on the personalities and life stories of the players.
Subsequently, Listyev appeared in several issues as co-host of Yakubovich until murders.
On October 23, 1992, the hundredth episode of “Field of Miracles” was released, which was filmed on September 29 in. - Plus (+)- the player can open any letter in the account (if this letter appears several times, then all of them are opened). As a rule, the first letter is opened (if it is not already open).
- Chance (Sh)- the player can call the phone (the number is given by a random viewer in the studio) to get an answer or a hint. If the person at the other end of the line answers correctly, they will send him a prize. If a player refuses this sector, it is considered that he got a sector with 1500 points. Currently, the “Chance” sector is displayed on the reel with the image of a telephone.
- Key- the player is given six keys, one of which is for the car. The player selects one of these keys and tries to open the car door with its help. If the key fits, the player takes the car, if not, he continues to play. Moreover, you can refuse this sector, and then the presenter offers 2000 points for the guessed letter. But if a player uses a sector and chooses an inappropriate key, then the turn goes to another player. Next, the assistant comes up and shows that there really is a key to the car. Currently, the “Key” sector is displayed on the reel with the image of a key.
- Bankrupt (B)- the player loses all points scored, and the turn passes to the next player. In the past, when the “Bankrupt” sector appeared, the player was given an incentive prize twice.
- Zero (0)- the player retains all points scored, but the turn passes to the next player.
- Doubling (×2)- the player’s points are doubled if he names the letter correctly (if there are two letters, then it is tripled, if there are three, it is multiplied by 4, etc.)
In special (usually holiday) editions, there may be separate sectors that usually give additional prizes.
Rules of the game
The game takes place in four rounds, each of which involves 3 players, and a final, in which the winners of the rounds participate.
At the beginning of the round, the host announces the theme of the game to the participants. All questions in the game will be related to this topic, which can be anything (for example: owls, honey, weddings, iron). Next, the presenter shows the word related to the topic encrypted on the board, and gives guiding hints so that the players guess it. IN in rare cases both phrases and words written with a hyphen could be written on the scoreboard (in this case, such a sign was opened on the scoreboard by the presenter himself). The main task of each player is to guess the word faster than his opponents and earn as many points as possible.
Players spin the reel. The first move is made by the player closest to the leader. He may get sectors with any number of points, which he will receive if he guesses the letter, or a special (also temporary) sector.
In case effective move the player names the letter Russian alphabet, which he believes is present in the hidden word. If there is such a letter, then it opens on the scoreboard, and the player receives the dropped number of points (if there are several such letters, all are opened, and points are awarded for each), and can spin the reel again or take a chance and name the whole word. If the named letter is not in the word (or if the move is ineffective), the right to spin the reel passes to the next player. In addition, the repeated name of both a letter already open on the scoreboard and a previously named missing letter are also considered ineffective moves. The first player to guess the entire word wins. If a player says the word incorrectly, he is eliminated from the game. The word can also be revealed letter by letter by spinning the reel and naming one letter per turn. In this case, the winner of the final is the player who revealed the last letter.
Players who win their rounds advance to the finals. The player who wins the final round is considered the winner of the game. He can choose prizes for the points he earns (the number of points scored by players is not displayed anywhere, but the amount of points earned by the winner of the game is announced by the presenter).
If three letters are correctly guessed in a row, the player has the right to choose from two boxes, one of which contains money. If he guesses the box, he receives a winnings of 5 thousand rubles, which cannot “burn.”
A player is eliminated from the game if he takes a prize (or money for it) or says the wrong word.
If two players are eliminated, then the rule applies to the third three successful moves, introduced in 1993. It consists in the fact that after three successful moves the player must name the word - otherwise he is eliminated from the game and does not become the winner of the round. Thus, the final can be played by two or one player; the game may also remain without a winner (if the above situation occurs in the final) or even without a final (if this happens in all three qualifying rounds).
In the early 1990s, there was an “insurance” that consisted of the following: participants called it an “accident” (for example: the “Bankrupt” sector appeared twice in a row, not a single correct letter was named, a move was not completed at all, etc.), and, if something happened to the participant that he was “insurable” from, he received a cash prize. Each top three, final and super game was carried out by independent companies.
At the beginning of 1991, a game with spectators sitting in the studio appeared, which existed until November 2, 2001.
Since players are not alone in the studio, there is a possibility of unauthorized tips. If the presenter hears a hint from the audience, the prompter leaves the studio, and the presenter changes the task.
Super game
After the winner of the game has chosen prizes for the points he earned, the presenter invites him to take part in a super game, where he can either lose everything or win a super prize, a program gift and a car in addition to the earned prizes. If accepted, the player spins the reel to select one of six super prizes. The presenter thinks of three words (until August 2006 - one), including one main horizontal word and two additional vertical ones. After this, the presenter gives the player the right to name several letters of the alphabet (the number of letters is named by the presenter, usually this is half the letters of the main word, if there is an even number of letters, and half, rounded to big side, if odd). If the letters named by the player are in all words, they are opened. After this, the player is given a minute to name the main word. To win the super game, the player only needs (but in any case is required) to guess the main (horizontal) one. If he guesses the main word, he receives a super prize; if he guesses two more (along with the main word), then in addition to the super prize - a car. If the player does not guess the horizontal word (or knows only vertical words), then he loses all prizes won by points (only gifts and money from two boxes). Sometimes, however, one or more of these prizes remains with the player at the will of the presenter.
For a short time in the second half of the 1990s, the “Field of Miracles” sector existed among the super prizes in the super game. His loss meant the player was given a jersey, a cap and was released from playing the super game without losing everything he had previously won.
Filming
The recording of 52 minutes of broadcast lasts until three hours. Filming of a TV show takes place regardless of its broadcast: this way they can be organized both on weekdays and on weekends. In one shooting day, four programs are filmed at once. The filming itself takes place at the Ostankino television center, in studio 4.

Museum program
The program has its own museum, which houses items donated by participants to Leonid Yakubovich. The “Field of Miracles” capital show gift museum was created in 2001, but its idea was conceived back in the early 1990s. In the museum you can find the first “Field of Miracles” box, costumes worn by Yakubovich, numerous portraits of Yakubovich and much more. The museum is located in the Central Pavilion All-Russian Exhibition Center. You can touch most of the exhibits with your hands, you are allowed to take photographs and try on costumes. After successfully graduating from evening school, Leonid Yakubovich did not forget about his childhood dream: he successfully passed the exams at three metropolitan theater universities. But it was then that his father, who worked as a designer at one of the factories, intervened and demanded that his son acquire a specialty “suitable for life”, and only then go wherever he wanted. For Leonid, dad was always the most authoritative person, whom he could not disobey. Therefore, the guy entered the Institute of Electronic Engineering.

But soon the young artist dropped out of the mechanical engineering institute, preferring civil engineering. In the early 80s, the cinematic biography of Leonid Yakubovich began: he first appeared on the screens in the famous film directed by Yuri Egorov “Once Upon a Time Twenty Years Later,” where the main characters were played by and. It is unlikely that the audience noticed Yakubovich in this melodrama, because he played a cameo role: one of the classmates who gathered at the alumni meeting.
In his youth, Leonid Arkadyevich Yakubovich became famous as a screenwriter of popular Soviet programs“Come on, guys!” and “Come on, girls!” In addition, he made successful steps in business, founding the first Auction House in the USSR in 1984.
In 1991, the artist was invited to the casting of the host of the entertainment television program “Field of Miracles” on Channel One, and already in November of that year Leonid Yakubovich appeared on the screens in the show beloved by millions. “Field of Miracles” enjoyed incredible success and popularity: people came to it from all over former USSR, and the presenter himself became not only the face, but also the symbol of the rating project. Until now, most people associate the host’s surname with this show.
The principle of operation of the TV show was very similar to the American analogue of “Wheel of Fortune”, but Leonid Yakubovich brought a lot of his own to the show: he improved and came up with the main “tricks” of the project. The director and author of the show approved the appearance of the black box in the program, as well as the organization legendary museum show “Field of Miracles”, where numerous gifts were sent from participants.
Even Leonid Yakubovich’s mustache became a symbol of the “Field of Miracles”; it was not for nothing that the artist’s contract with Channel One included a clause prohibiting shaving it off.
The famous presenter was often invited to other projects. In 1996, on the RTR TV channel, Leonid Yakubovich hosted the “Analysis of the Week” program. In the same year, he became the host of the television game “Wheel of History” on the Rossiya TV channel. In this game, participants had to guess historical event which the actors acted out in front of them. But the show was not particularly successful, and was bought by the ORT television channel, where it existed until 2000.
Leonid Arkadyevich also authored the musical television game “Guessing Game,” where participants had to guess songs by melody. But the program had low ratings, although it turned out to be quite expensive, which is why it was soon closed. In 2000, Yakubovich returned to KVN as one of the jury members.
In 2005, Leonid Yakubovich was appointed director of the VID television company, which produced the show “Field of Miracles.” In the same year, he created a series of programs dedicated to the last hours of the life of famous artists - “The Last 24 Hours”. It was published until 2010.
In 2004, 2006 and 2010, Leonid Arkadyevich hosted the “Wash for a Million” program.
In the spring of 2015, the authoritative TV presenter delivered the opening and closing words in the program “Collection of Channel One,” and since March 2016, Leonid Yakubovich has co-hosted the program “Star on Star,” which is broadcast on the Zvezda TV channel. Leonid Arkadyevich played the most striking roles in the films “Moscow Holidays”, “They Don’t Kill Clowns”, “Expedited Help”, “Russian Amazons”, “Paparatsa” and “Three Days in Odessa”.

But Leonid Yakubovich is forced to abandon some plans due to his enormous workload. This happened in September 2016: the premiere of the play “The Last Aztec,” where one of the roles went to the actor, was postponed indefinitely.
Immediately, alarming rumors spread that Yakubovich fell ill and urgently went to one of the clinics in Germany, where he was supposedly scheduled to have an operation. According to some reports, this rumor was confirmed to journalists by Joseph Raikhelgauz, artistic director of the School of Modern Play theater.
Some fans of the star suspected their favorite cancer, justifying his suspicion by the fact that Leonid Yakubovich has recently lost significant weight. Others suggested that the star was in an accident and is struggling with it dire consequences. There were still others who claimed that the artist had a heart attack (according to another version, a stroke).
The artist remained silent for a long time, not wanting to refute rumors and speculation, but when they started talking that Leonid Yakubovich had died, he had to break the silence and reassure his overly worried fans.
Leonid Arkadyevich explained that he was still healthy and full of strength. And he decided to lose a couple of tens of kilograms of weight because it became difficult for him to move due to overweight. To this end, Yakubovich regularly visited the gym and tennis court, managing to get into the right shape in a short period of time.

In 1990-2000, the program screensaver looked like this: bright stripes quickly move parallel to each other, thus forming a field of sixteen even squares. Next, the field becomes three-dimensional, as if gaining volume (in three-dimensional form it becomes like a chocolate bar). Three-dimensional colored symbols are lowered onto the field to the sound of a peculiar slurping sound. various forms, each character ends up occupying one square. Then the main musical motive of the screensaver sounds, under which a field of squares flies into the air, rises and against its background is written in pink letters “ Field of Miracles " Then the field flies off the screen (the music continues), and soon returns, turning over reverse side, which is a regular gray square. The square is lowered behind the words “Field of Miracles”, and then the phrase “capital sho u” appears in letters under the resulting composition. Musical arrangement This screensaver changed a little in 1993. In 1991, after advertising and before the super game, a blue paper with the word “Field of Miracles of the Capital Show” arrived. From 1992 to 1995, advertisements were preceded by a splash screen with jumping gold letters on a black background.
From the fall of 1995 to 2000, after advertising on ORT, in the program's screensaver, the game reel rotates, the camera approaches it so that the points on the sectors are not visible. With each new sector, under one ringing note, letters appear that form the words “ Field of Miracles" At last change sector, a golden frame appears, which, like the square from the old screensaver, falls into the background. The modern opening title, used since December 29, 2000, features the game's studio and a flying spinning reel. An image of Yakubovich is formed from stars on the screen. Then the word “Field of Miracles” is lit up in letters. All this happens to a shortened version of the music from the first screensaver, and it sounds twice, first in a jazz style, then, when the letters are lit, in a standard one. They also existed in a reduced form for the commercial break. Before the super game, we see the word “SUPER” written in lilac letters on the top line, and the word “game” formed by lit light bulbs on the bottom line. In March 2009, Yakubovich's image was removed from the screensaver, and the screensaver itself runs at a slower pace.
