How to restore energy in the nuclear world. Walkthrough of DLC Nuka-World

Precious medallions are one of the side missions in the DLC nuka world for the game fallout 4. During the mission you will go around many different areas of the World Cores in search of medallions. Although the task is considered easy, finding the desired medallions can be difficult, especially for those who are new to Yader-Mir. Therefore, in this article we will tell you how to complete the quest precious medallions in fallout 4 nuka world.

Receiving a task

To receive the task you must find a robot in the form of a Nuka Cola bottle named LIYA. Basically, LIYA walks near the entrance to Yader World; you can meet her almost at the very beginning of the game on this map. Approach her and start a conversation. Basically LIYA will talk about various interesting places in the Yader world, because she is one of the very last robot guides released before the war. It is worth noting that as the conversation progresses, LIYA will speak rudely and use insults towards you - do not pay attention, since the raiders were able to hack her system and made certain changes to the communication program. Towards the end of the conversation, LIYA will ask you to complete a small task and collect seven medallions. According to the robot, you can find medallions in special machines close to the most famous attractions. Next, take the quest and start searching.

Search for medallions for LIYA

So, after you have accepted the task, it’s time to start searching, to do this you must go around seven places and find red machines there that give us one medallion each. You may have already found some of the medallions during other missions in the Nuclear World, so before you go, check what you have in your inventory.

Children's Kingdom - Ferris Wheel

Go to the Children's Kingdom location, which is located on the left side of the bottom of the World Core map. The machine gun is located near the fence near the Ferris wheel, it will be very easy to find it.

Galaxy – “Nuclear Galaxy”

In the Galaxy location there is a huge attraction called Nuka-Galaxy. To get the medallion you must go through the entire attraction, from the main entrance to the rocket ride on the rails. You will eventually end up in the Yader-Girl hall, where you need to go up to the upper room. There will be a red rocket in the corner and a machine gun with a medallion next to it.

Safari – “Treehouse”

To get the third medallion you must go to the Safari location and completely go through the long maze there. At the end of the maze you will find a tree house, on the upper floors of which there will be a machine with a medallion.

Galaxy – Vault-Tec

Another medallion can be found in the Vault-Tec building. To do this, move to the desired point and find the fire exit, which is located on the back side of the building in a small descent. As soon as you enter through the back entrance, there will be a machine on your right.

Dry Gulch - "Mulligan's Mine"

During the mission Showdown in a Dry Gorge, you probably came across a small souvenir shop. So, right at the cash registers in this store there is a machine with the desired medallion. If you have not yet completed the main quests in the Nuclear World, then you need to go to Mulligan's Mines and complete them completely. There will be a shop at the exit from the mines.

"World of Freshness"

Finding a medallion in the World of Freshness location is very easy, since the machine is located opposite the entrance to the bottling plant.

Children's Kingdom - "Yader Racers"

You will find the last medallion in a small attraction called "Nuka-Racers", which is located in the Children's Kingdom location.

End of quest and rewards

After collecting all the medals, go to LIYA and give them to her. Now you know how to complete the mission Precious Medallions fallout 4 nuka world. As a reward, you will receive three rare drinks: Quantum and Dark Nuka Cola, as well as Nuke Grapes. Good luck!

Released in November last year, and only now Bethesda released its latest addition called " Yader-Mir" As always, we will receive new weapons, new map with beautiful and interesting locations, as well as a good storyline. But to get the DLC to work, make sure it's installed first. Although this sounds like the most obvious thing, some season pass holders did not install the add-on on their own. If everything works for you, let's get down to the game itself.

How to get started

To dive into the new addition, find the quest “Getting Around!” in your Pip-Boy. You will be asked to turn on a special radio station, after listening to which a new location will appear in the west of the map. It is not yet clear whether you need to reach a certain level for the quest to work (according to some sources, it is known that the required level is 30, although some claim that the quest can be started without a radio broadcast if you just show up at desired point), or you need to complete a certain part of the main story. One way or another, if for some reason you don’t get the task “Get to Your Places!”, try to move further along the plot.

Trial

The test is a deadly maze that you find yourself in from the very beginning of the expansion. There are several ways to get through it, but the brute force option will be the easiest. So that you do not have difficulties as you progress, you should upgrade your skill hacking. The ability to pick complex locks will allow you to bypass some traps and also find a way out faster.

Although the game constantly leads you through the challenge all the way to the boss, be sure to take Thirst quencher in one of the lockers before entering the arena. Shoot the boss Colter with water to remove his electrical shields, and then finish him off with your main weapon. It's not easy to get close to him, so the best solution there will be firearms.

When you find yourself in the park itself, you will see how many attractions there are. Oddly enough, the best of them turned out to be trash cans, in which you can often find Yader-Cola, tickets, tokens, etc. Tickets can be redeemed for rewards, but don't expect anything fancy. Don't forget to visit the rides, they are quite fun.

There are also a lot of persuasion options in Yader-Mir, especially towards the end of the expansion. It wouldn't hurt to level up charisma and skills Wifekiller/Black Widow.

Stellar cores

In the futuristic Galaxy zone, players need to find star cores to power the zone and kill all the robots. Although there are 35 cores scattered throughout the park, you only need to find 20. Luckily, all 20 can be found in the Galaxy area, so you won't have to look far.

To find as many of them as possible, stick to attractions like Starlight Cinema, Vault-Tec: Among the Stars, and RobCo Arena. By moving between them, you can easily find the required quantity stellar cores to complete the main mission. You can also go to the Star Dispatcher terminal and see how many cores are still left and where.

Settlements

If you want to arrange Yader-Mir at your own discretion, we have for you bad news. In addition Nuka-World there are no new settlements, despite new things in crafting. Only after the end of the main storyline In addition, you will have access to places where you can place the Mr. Cap logo wherever you want.

Now, thanks to the efforts of the Survivor, the Yader-Mir raiders have a foothold in the commonwealth. Let's go to our advisor to discuss further actions. Shank tells us that a message has arrived from Yader-Mir - the Adepts have betrayed us. Nisha didn't like what the other gangs got more territory. She and her people took over the power plant.

Note
The gang that got less territory will betray, it could be any other Yader-Mir gang.

The leaders have decided not to interfere with them for now and are waiting for the Survivor at the power plant. We go there to talk with Masen, Maggie and William and decide how to act in this situation. We meet the leaders at the checkpoint next to the power plant and learn that Nisha and the gang made their way there and barricaded themselves.

Everyone is radical and ready to tear the traitor to shreds.

We fight our way into the power plant building.

Note
Inside the building, behind iron door with the terminal (difficult level) there is power armor.

Note
On the top level of the building, in office space, on the desk there is a recipe for “Yader-Sila”.

On the roof we deal with Nisha (we remove the key to the control center from her body) and finish off the remaining Adepts.

In the control center we activate the switch and watch a grandiose fireworks display over Yader-Mir.

Let's go talk to Gage. He is shocked and rejoices like a child at a New Year’s tree, because the entire “Yader-Mir” is now in lights! Gage is glad that he was not mistaken in the Survivor, and does not regret that he once took a risk and helped us defeat Colter. We left our mark on the community, now even Diamond City knows about us!

Since there is now energy in the park, you can try to walk through it again and see places that were previously impossible to go to. You can also contact Shank and capture a couple more Commonwealth settlements... if there is anything left there. And, of course, you can offer your help to Maggie or Mason, they have a lot of work for the Survivor, and the promised lids will be waiting for us in the chest of the Fizztop grill bar. If we support production in our settlements, the gangs, in turn, will replenish the Survivor's treasury. Upon completion of the quest (depending on the gangs we chose), the Survivor receives two abilities: “Professional” and “Pack Leader” or “Chosen One”.

Description:
Admit it to yourself - how long has it been since you visited Yader-Mir after completing its quests? Especially if you destroyed all the raiders? And why?
Yes, simply because this world is empty, and the only settlement in the Red Rocket does not count.
The idea of this mod is to make Yader-Mir more alive, especially if the player's choice is not to follow the path of the raiders.

Update: 2.5

Update: 2.0

  • - Version 2.0 is a complete modification of the mod, so let's see the changes and how they work. What has changed compared to the first versions?

2 BIG changes:

1 - Workshops.
In previous versions I used the DLC workshop (DLC04WorkshopWorkbench, like the ones in Red Rocket of Yader-Mir), but now I use the regular one (WorkshopWorkbench, like the ones used in the main game).
The reason is that DLC04workshop was confusing for many players and they didn't know how to get settlements or why this should be the case. I stepped back and used COMMON to make things easier to understand.

2 - Pre-Combined
In the first version, I disabled the pre-combined data, so the chances of breaking could be better and greater. This version 2.0 does NOT disable pre-combined data.
The reason is to improve productivity. This is a trade: more scrap = less productivity. Adding an optional add-on that disables the pre-combination gives players the option to choose what they want. If you want the game to run at 60 FPS on average... don't use the add-on. Want to break everything and build like crazy in your game... you're better off using an addon.
Now it is the player's choice, and not imposed by the mod (creator).

WHAT DOES THE MOD GIVE?

  • - 15 settlements
  • - 8 houses
  • - 35 map markers
  • - Unique NPCs
  • - Minor NPC improvements

SETTLEMENTS AND HOUSES
All settlements are now REGULAR. Settlers can be created using a beacon, supply lines can be created, attacks will occur... all things like in normal settlements.
Of course, ordinary settlements can also be RAIDER or ENSUVED. To make this possible, you need to develop the settlement a little so that Shank considers this place as a valid target.
And, as in previous versions, ALL workbenches in these areas are connected to their workshops.
But NOT ALL settlements can be freely obtained. For many of them, you need to meet certain requirements.

At home
ALL houses can be obtained from the very beginning. No requirements. Unlike other indoor workshops (Player's House in Diamond City), these houses use a special workshop. This means that you have access to all workshop mode menus. You can build whatever you want. But DO NOT try to spawn settlers, and I also don't recommend using robots. There is nothing in these areas to make them work as a settlement. (No spawn, no center, no attack...). They are intended for use at HOME. The exception is Mister Cap's Cafe. The workshop in this place is more about updating the place than using it as a home... but you CAN... if you want.

Let's look at them one by one:

Transit center "Yader-Mir" (settlement)
Requirement: Activate the backup power at the metro station to get a workshop. The very first settlement you find. As you can see from the name, it is located in the Yader-Mir Transit Center. Kill the shooters, enter the subway station, talk to Harvey, get the password, turn on the systems and... done. You can return and take control of the workshop.

Grill bar "Fizztop" (settlement)
So now you are the boss. And the Fizztop Grill Bar belongs to you. It's simple. The Fizztop Grill Workshop controls the area surrounding the lake/grill deck and of course includes the Fizztop Grill Bar. Here, next to the workshop, you can find the Lair Hub (a shared container with the workshops of other houses).

Interior of the Fizztop Grill Bar (house)
Yes, your own boss's house. Ready for reception. To facilitate work, the workshop from the inside is connected to the workshop from the outside.

Interior of Mount Fizztop (house)
Now you will recognize the leaders of the gangs, and the first may be Nisha, the leader of the Adepts. Talk to her, approach the workshop and... boom! Now you can mess around with all those crazy decorations and apply your style to the place. The Workshop is not connected anywhere, but you can access the Lair Hub (Fizztop Grill Bar).

Salon (house)
Next in line are the Black brothers, leaders of the Operators. Talk to them, visit their locker room and... there you are. Now you can turn this place into a real cool club. Same as before - the workshop is not connected anywhere, but you can access the Lair Hub (Fizztop Grill Bar). Also available here is a special power supply - Fuse Box (Radius 1000, Power 100).

Mister Cap's Cafe (house)
Before you move on to the final gang leader, you might want to grab some coffee... or some beer. Enter this location and visit the storage room. And... done. Enter workshop mode and help the poor guy clean up the place... or not. The workshop is connected to the Yader-Mir market, and has a special fuse box.

Bradburton Amphitheater (house)
And finally, the last leader, Mason, the leader of the Pack. You can try to talk to him (if you can hear him in all the noise from the fight), or you can go to the alley and see a fairy workshop calling to you. Get this place in order and show these animals who the master builder is. The workshop is not connected, but has access to the Lair Hub (Fizztop Grill Bar).

Requirements:

  • Fallout 4
  • DLC Nuka-World

Installation:
Copy the archive files to a folder Data games and activate the .esp files in your mod manager in the following load order:

  1. NUKA_WORLD_SETTLEMENTS.esp - main mod file;
  2. NUKA_WORLD_SETTLEMENTS_DECAL_ADDON.esp- This file removes all decal textures to provide better cleaning of the construction area. Required for installation;
  3. NUKA_WORLD_SETTLEMENTS_NO_COMBINED.esp- connect according to your choice. If you want to sort out more garbage, install it. If you don't want FPS to drop, don't install it.
  4. NUKA_WORLD_SETTLEMENTS_SCRAP_ADDON.esp- this file will add a whole bunch of objects to the scrap list. This way the player will be able to disassemble almost everything. This is just a scrap list. You can (should) use it with your favorite scrap mod (eg Scrap Everything). The list of scrap is untranslatable - the author simply copied their IDs into the names of the items, but nevertheless the mod fulfills its mission, dismantling all the garbage for scrap.

Of course, the add-on has not yet been released, but achievements have already appeared on Steam, as well as their description, which tells us how to get them.
