Recipe for pastry sausage made from cookies with condensed milk. Cookie sausage - a recipe like in childhood

For many, chocolate sausage is a taste of childhood. It was always tastier than store-bought cakes, even from the most expensive cafes, because it was often made by the children themselves. It's quite simple, but incredibly delicious!

Now no one can say for sure who first came up with the idea of creating such a sweet. Perhaps it occurred to several savvy mothers who wanted to please their children with a natural dessert. And at the same time prepare something for tea for guests.

The sausage is very similar to the famous Potato cake, which is also made from available products. True, they differ in appearance and, surprisingly, in taste. Even if you make a sausage out of “Potato”, you will still get the wrong taste. You can try it and see for yourself!

All sausages are prepared according to the same principle: a thick mass based on cookies, biscuit or other dry sweet ingredient is turned into a roll, which then needs to be frozen. At room temperature, such a dessert will not have a dense shape, so always keep it in the refrigerator.

There are as many recipes for this sweet as there are housewives. Often everything that is in the house goes into it: chocolate, nuts, marmalade, marshmallows, honey, seeds, etc. And no matter what you add, it always turns out incredibly tasty!

You can prepare such sausage even using custard or any other cream, but the initial recipe is quite simple - from any cookie, preferably shortbread. Usually one part of it is turned into small crumbs, and the second is broken into pieces. When cut, it really turns out to be a mass similar to sausage with pieces of lard. Only the sausage is sweet, dark and flavorful.

There are also recipes for similar diet sausages, but today they are useless. If you want to remember the taste of childhood, we recommend stopping at nutritious, but so familiar sausages.

Chocolate biscuit sausage recipe - classic

If you've never made such a simple dessert as chocolate sausage, know that you don't need to bake it. The chocolate sausage is cooled to the desired hardness in the refrigerator after all the ingredients are mixed.

This recipe is the most basic and requires simple ingredients:

  • classic shortbread cookies (for example, “Jubilee” or “Baked Milk”) - 400-500 grams,
  • butter – 250 grams,
  • cocoa powder – 2-3 tablespoons,
  • granulated sugar - 1 cup.

Start by crushing the cookies into crumbs. This can be done with a blender, meat grinder, or by hand by placing the cookies in a bag or rolling them over with a rolling pin. If you want a homogeneous, tender sausage, grind all the cookies into fine flour. If you want to have larger pieces as “fat” in the sausage, then break about a third of the cookies with your hands into pieces of the required size.

Then, melt the butter over low heat, add sugar and cocoa powder. Stir until smooth, but do not let it boil.

Pour the cookie crumbs into the resulting sweet chocolate mass and stir thoroughly to form a stiff dough. It should turn out with lumps if you left large pieces.

Please note that the thickness of this “dough” should be sufficient to form a sausage out of it. It's helpful to have a small supply of cookies just in case they turn out too soft. But do not overdo it, the sausage will harden in the refrigerator thanks to the oil.

Wrap the sausage in cling film. If it turns out to be soft, then foil, which must be twisted in several layers, will help maintain its shape until it hardens.

After this, the sausage must be put in the refrigerator for at least six hours. It will also harden well in the freezer if you don't have much time, but let it warm up a bit before cutting it.

If you haven’t eaten it in one go, it’s best to store the finished sausage in the refrigerator so that it doesn’t melt, since it’s based on butter.

This video recipe shows a similar method of preparing chocolate sausage.

Chocolate sausage made from cookies with condensed milk

The second recipe for chocolate sausage is different in that it uses condensed milk instead of sugar. The cookies turn out a little more tender and milky. To prepare it you will need:

  • shortbread cookies – 600 grams,
  • can of condensed milk,
  • butter – 200 grams (one pack),
  • cocoa powder - 5-6 tablespoons,

Grind the cookies into fine crumbs, leaving a few larger pieces.

Melt the butter a little, then add condensed milk and cocoa to it, stir until smooth. Add cookies to this mixture and fold in the stiff “dough.”

Place cling film on the table, lay out the mixture and roll into a long sausage. Wrap the sausage tightly in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator to harden.

To serve, remove and cut into slices of the thickness you like.

This sausage is quite elastic when kneading, so it is not necessary to make it classic shape, you can roll a lot of balls and you will succeed chocolates. Roll in finely chopped nuts, powder or coconut flakes. It will turn out amazingly beautiful and tasty.

Recipe for chocolate sausage made from cookies with condensed milk and a chocolate bar

This recipe is the easiest to prepare and can even be given to a child, provided that he has already received permission from his parents to use the stove. Of course, it is advisable to do this under adult supervision. We prepare just such a sausage with my six-year-old daughter and she always participates in the process more than anyone else.

The recipe is very popular with both adults and children, does not contain a large amount of fatty butter and can vary in taste due to what ingredients are used for it.

Everything you need for cooking:

  • shortbread cookies – 400-500 grams,
  • can of condensed milk,
  • bar of chocolate.

Let your imagination run wild here, but remember a few important details. The cookies should be sandy and crumble well. Take what tastes best to you. You will be mixing the chocolate with milk, so even if you use the darkest type of chocolate, it will become milkier. You can choose any chocolate from your favorite manufacturer. Or make an original white chocolate sausage.

Crush the cookies into fine and coarse crumbs. Then melt the chocolate in a water bath in a small ladle or saucepan, pour condensed milk into it and stir. Pour the resulting chocolate-milk mixture into the cookies and stir.

Place cling film on the table and put the mixture there, roll it into a sausage. For reliability and to maintain its shape, you can wrap the sausage in several layers of food foil. Then, take the sausage into the refrigerator for about 5-7 hours.

Chocolate sausage according to any of these recipes can be made tastier if you add to your taste:

  • nuts,
  • raisin,
  • candied fruit,
  • dried fruits,
  • vanilla,
  • cinnamon,
  • chocolate pieces.

All this mixes into the cookie crumbs and gives your sausage brightness and new flavor. Don't be afraid to experiment.

Here is one great example of such an interesting chocolate sausage:

Almost all of us love sweets. However, various candies and desserts that can be purchased in a store do not always have high quality. A variety of flavorings, preservatives and flavoring additives are used in their preparation. In addition, they are also not cheap. But it turns out that various sweets for tea can be prepared on your own. To do this you need to use a minimum of ingredients and not much time. Let's talk about how to prepare a sweet sausage from cookies and cocoa with condensed milk; we will give a proven recipe for such a sweet.

First recipe

To prepare such a sausage, you need to prepare six hundred grams of cookies (Strawberry, Hello, or Good morning", as well as other similar varieties). In addition, you will need three hundred and eighty grams of unboiled condensed milk, two hundred grams of soft butter and five teaspoons of cocoa powder.

First, break the cookies into small slices, about half a centimeter in size. Add butter to it, warming it a little before at room temperature. Under no circumstances should you melt such a product. Mix these two ingredients well. Next, add cocoa to them, then mix again. Combine the resulting mass with condensed milk and mix again.

Form several sausage bars from the prepared mixture. You should have five or six sweet sausages. Wrap them up tighter in a plastic bag or cling film and place in the freezer for four hours. Cut the cooked sausage as you see fit.

Some tips

After the frozen sausage sits for some time at room temperature, it will not change its shape, but will become pleasantly soft.

The mixture used to form the sausage should look loose. The cookie slices are held together by condensed milk. If you purchased condensed milk that is too thin, add some more cookies to it. But it’s better to mix in condensed milk in small portions to obtain a product of optimal density.

Cooked sausage can be stored in the freezer for quite a long time.

To prepare such a dessert, it is better to use thirty percent cocoa.

Recipe No. 2

To prepare this sweetness, you need to use three hundred to four hundred grams of shortbread cookies, two hundred grams of butter, one glass of sugar, and three heaped tablespoons of sugar. In addition, prepare five tablespoons of milk or light cream and one glass of peeled walnuts.

Half or a third of the prepared cookies should be crushed using a blender or an ordinary mortar. Pour the resulting powder into a bowl. Break the remaining cookies into small pieces by hand. Chop the walnuts large enough and combine them with the prepared cookies.

Pour the sugar into a separate bowl, add cocoa to it and mix well. Next, carefully pour the cream or milk into this container and mix again. Place cocoa and milk over low heat and bring to a boil while stirring constantly.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and cool slightly. Add butter to the resulting mass, cutting it into cubes. Mix the chocolate mixture as thoroughly as possible until smooth. Next, combine it with cookies and chopped nuts. But do not pour out all the ingredients at once, but gradually, so that the mass is not overly thick.

Mix the treat until you have a thick, gooey chocolate mixture.

Spread cling film or foil greased with butter on the table. You can also use a sheet of parchment to prepare the sausage. Place a portion of the chocolate mixture on it and gently smooth it out. Wrap a sheet of foil tightly or cling film near your workpiece so that it takes the shape of a sausage. Repeat similar manipulations with the remaining chocolate mass.

Place the prepared sausage in the refrigerator or freezer and leave until completely hardened. When serving, cut it into slices.

You will need one hundred and twenty grams of sugar, four tablespoons of cocoa powder, sixty milliliters of milk, fifty-five grams of butter, thirty grams of dark chocolate. Also prepare eighty grams of nuts (to your taste), eighty grams of cookies, fifty grams of raisins and the same amount of prunes.

Dry the nuts and peel them. Break the cookies. Wash and chop the prunes, mix them with pre-soaked and dried raisins, as well as cookies and nuts.

Cook the glaze: Combine cocoa and sugar, pour in milk and place over low heat. Melt the butter and pour it into this saucepan. Stir the contents constantly, and after the sugar has completely dissolved, add chopped chocolate into the container. Bring the mixture to a boil and turn off.

Combine the glaze with a mixture of nuts and dried fruits. Mix well. Prepare the sausages as described in the recipes above.
