Shchukin LDPR. Altai Deputy Prime Minister Shukin left the Democratic Party of Russia and joined “United Russia”

MP Andrey Shchukin(LDPR) is one of the most open politicians in the Altai Territory. He consistently ranks first in the POLITSIBRU mention rating, as he readily comments on any regional events and often comes up with legislative initiatives.

To participate in the campaign “Voters must know deputies by sight,” Shchukin chose photographs with his family, with colleagues and other interesting photographs in which he, among other things, is not afraid to seem funny.

Like, for example, in this photo. It was taken during a business trip to Tajikistan in March 2012. “Just shortly before the trip, a sensational video with Vladimir Zhirinovsky and a donkey was released. Colleagues from the Altai delegation constantly remembered him and teased me. They asked local residents to organize this photo shoot,” said Shchukin.

Andrey Shchukin with his family (from left to right): wife Svetlana, son Kirill, Andrey Shchukin, daughter Katya. The photo was taken after voting in the 2014 gubernatorial elections.

Opening of the Kalashnikov Museum in Kurye. “In one of the halls there was a machine gun - you could take it apart and put it back together, which is what I started doing. I sorted it out - and here is the governor. They immediately asked me to leave, but I couldn’t throw away the disassembled weapon! The photo was taken at the time of the control shot - it is always taken after assembly. Then Alexander Bogdanovich asked me that he didn’t play enough in the army? But I didn’t serve in the army, I served in the navy,” said the deputy.

With his mother Anna Evgenievna and her son, now a hockey player for the Russian youth team.

Andrey Shchukin received a diploma for winning the Life Music competition established by the Magazine. The award was presented in the “Art and Shock” category for the performance of the popular hit “Enchanted, Bewitched.” deputy with Vladimir Kislov's group. “A real politician is a public figure. He should not refuse such events. You must always be prepared for any turn of events - not be afraid to go outside the sports field, run the Cross of Nations, or sing a song. If Vladimir Volfovich himself sings, then God himself commanded us!” - says Shchukin.

On the eve of the gubernatorial elections, the documents have been submitted and the campaign is underway.

The rally is on August 22 – Russian Flag Day. Andrey Shchukin, according to tradition, ends the event with a fiery speech.

Andrey Shchukin and Evgenia Borovikova (today – coordinator of the Altai branch of the LDPR). “Very beautiful and soulful, and now a historical photograph. Both Zhenya and I turned out to be very interesting (albeit tired), but positive. We are here on the pre-election drive…” recalls Shchukin.

1. 48 years old. Born in Yarovoye. He served in the Baltic Fleet as part of the crew of the anti-submarine patrol ship “Svirepy”.

2. Received three degrees: at the Barnaul Cooperative College, at the Russian Academy of Labor and Social Relations (lawyer), at Altai State Technical University (economics and enterprise management). At the Polytechnic he worked at the Department of Law and Political Science.

3. Andrei Shchukin has long been the “face” of the LDPR in the Altai Territory. He joined the party in 2002. In 2004, he organized and headed the press service of the regional branch of the LDPR. It was then that he took part in the elections for the first time and, in his own words, “flew like plywood over Paris.” In 2005, he became deputy coordinator of the regional party organization for propaganda and public relations. In 2008 he became a deputy of the ACZS. In 2009, he headed the local branch of the LDPR, and in 2012 he was re-elected to this post. In 2015, he resigned as head.

4.In 2009, there were persistent rumors about his possible appointment to the post of deputy governor(after the reappointment of Alexander Karlin as head of the region). Then Shchukin in an interview with the newspaper “Your Business” said the following.

Andrey Shchukin,
Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Altai Territory, in 2009 - head of the regional branch of the LDPR:

I am not ashamed to say that I am ready for offers and for public service. For example, fire Cherepanov (then social vice-governor), put me in his place, and social policy in the region will be different. This is, of course, a firing squad. But in this place there must be a person who tells the truth - both to the first person and to the people. In this regard, I will quote another vice-governor, Yakov Ishutin: “As much money as there are so many songs.” People need to explain this. Many social explosions occur because no one really explains unpopular measures to people.

In 2012, Andrei Shchukin said he was ready to work as a deputy: “I don’t want to be a petty clerk carrying out orders. But I’m ready to try myself at least tomorrow as a vice-governor - political, economic, social.”

He says that after the elections there was such a joke. After the gubernatorial elections in 2014, Shchukin and Karlin went on a business trip to England. We arrived at Heathrow airport, descended from the ramp - early morning, fog. Carlin says: “Eh, England. London. Cloudy. Fog - I could...” And Shchukin stood there, lowered his head and said: “But I couldn’t.”

As a result, he lost his status as a deputy. Then he told the site that he might leave politics altogether, although he still had many “raw ideas” that he planned to implement during his parliamentary work.

Quote

Andrey Shchukin,
Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Altai Territory, ex-head of the regional branch of the LDPR:

The staffing situation is bad everywhere, even in United Russia. Very few adequate, effective, educated, intellectually and physically collected people are ready to engage in politics.

Became coordinator of the regional branch of the LDPR. As the LDPR press service reported to Amitel news agency, this decision was made at the Coordination Council of the Altai regional branch of the LDPR last Saturday, May 23.

As the State Duma deputy explained Vladimir Semenov, a planned rotation is being carried out in the party, requirements for State Duma deputies are being tightened, who now have to spend most of their time engaged in legislative activities in Moscow. In this regard, Semenov asked to remove his powers as coordinator of the AROPP LDPR.

« This is a purely “technical” solution necessary to optimize the activities of the regional party branch", he explained.

In accordance with the Party Charter, the Supreme Council of the LDPR recommended to the Coordination Council of the regional branch of the LDPR the candidacy of Andrei Shchukin, a deputy of the LDPR faction in the regional Legislative Assembly, for election to the position of coordinator of the regional branch.

« The new position obliges me to be responsible for the entire regional branch of our party. From today I will work with redoubled energy and responsibility and intensify my political activity. As before, the Altai LDPR will convey the party’s position to the population and protect all residents of the region", said Andrey Shchukin.
